In order for children to have a healthy mind they need to have a healthy body. The karate program at the MAS Youth Center gives the children unbelievable self esteem. One can tell that the difference between the children that attend karate and the ones that don‘t .No, it’s not the suit that gives them away. It’s the way the children carry themselves with charisma, they look confident in their talk and walk.

The Karate program teaches children to always to be striving for a goal in various ways: changing their belts for advancement, the tournaments, or different events that keep taking place. This program gives the children a sense of recognition. It has many positive aspects that keeps the children looking forward to new accomplishments on a day to day bases.
