Dar Al Dawah’s Masjid Activities and Programs


The Masjid’s activities and programs are on an annual basis. The goal is to establish a continuous contact and relationship among the community’s residents and between the community and its religion and its creator.

Daily Programs:

Throughout the day
  • The five daily prayers
  • Fajr prayer’s Short sermon

Weekly Programs:

Throughout the week and in addition to the daily activities
  • Lecture (Tuesdays)
  • Jummuaa prayer at 1 pm
  • Men’s Tajweed session (Mondays & Wednesdays)
  • Women’s Tajweed session (Fridays)
  • Sisters’ lesson: Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 1 pm
  • Boys and girls scout program

Monthly Programs:

Additional activities in which diverse issues are discussed and studied in depth, distinguished scholars are often invited.
  • Monthly Seminar: Held on the first Saturday of each month
  • Mosque’s monthly itikaf: Held on the third Saturday of each month; no age restriction
  • Training sessions in the Islamic (Sharia) Sciences: Held quaterly for brothers and sisters.

Islamic School:

In addition to memorizing the Holly Qur'an and learning the rules of recitation, the school also focuses on:
  • Teaching the subjects of the Islamic Education and the Arabic Language to preserve the Islamic identity of the community
  • Practicing sports

Islamic School Activities:

  • Holy Qur’an School: 4 days a week, memorizing sessions are level-dependent
  • Weekly Saturday School: ages 5 to 11
  • Weekly Sunday School: youth - ages 12 to 17
  • Karate School: Every Saturday
  • Summer Camping: 8-weeks long during summer’s vacation for ages 4 to 11

Youth Programs:

Programs for both genders in order to elevate their thinking, intellect in order to provide them with what they need most during their youth and equip them with a strong will.
  • Females session: Sundays
  • Males session: Friday

Yearly Programs:

  • Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha Prayers
  • The fun trip right after the Eid’s prayer
  • Eid Celebration
  • Family trips during the Summer (July & August)
  • Diverse training sessions (Hajj, immigration laws, raising children, family conflicts, etc..)
  • Islamic marriage certificates.
